It just never cooled-down much overnight, after yesterday’s high of 108.5°F – but all these morning clouds is a bit weird…
The insulated garage is proving every bit of its worth and value, particularly for the health of the doggie, and the new 7-cu/ft garage freezer holds blocks of ice to cool her little pool. And without the roof insulation the freezer would be overloaded and not even function.
We’ve been over 100 all week, highest was 115, and no rain in sight! Sigh

We got up to 106 yesterday, but we’re also not yet into August-September either…

106 is a tad bit warm for your altitude… It could get really hot later… sigh

That’s tough, plus you probably have 60%+ humidity! Hang in there or book a flight to Tahiti…

We’re cool enough. Damsel gets a little fatigued now and then, but I am still the old desert rat taking it all in stride.
We just remember to stay indoors between 11:00 AM and November 1st. LOL

I meant to comment a couple of days ago but we were easily distracted with other issues. Our patio temperature as I type this is 114 F and the uninsulated attached garage is 110 F. However, the little freezer has no problem keeping things frozen. I actually had to manually defrost the thing last week. There is also a kitchen sized fridge/freezer out there with no problems either.
The office temperature is 79 F now @3:44PM MST.

Hi Cap’n! Our little GE freezer is not “garage”specific, and some HomeDepot reviews were not particularly flattering, so I wasn’t sure whether it would function well without the benefit of insulation – and hopefully the insulation $$ will help with efficiency!
Hope you guys stay cool!
