Really not too surprisingly, it rained. But not enough to get the drainage really flowing – just light showers overnight, not a deluge. This is a reminder to us that it’s not yet Summer and bigger things are afoot beyond our mastery. So plans change, like I won’t be washing the truck today. Instead we’ll go shopping for fresh fruits and vegetables up in Camino at Boa Vista where I can run the dog in the big field…

Sigh… we got less than 1/8″ last night. We NEED some good rain.

I went and bought broadleaf weed killer yesterday. Couldn’t find the brand you used so just bought the Roundup (it was under $10 for the bottle so if it doesn’t work, not a huge loss). Sprayed the whole yard using my sprayer bottle which doesn’t pump up as well as it used to. Took me about 45 minutes (it’s a big yard but not like yours). Woke up in the middle of the night and it was raining quite nicely. Thanks, Mother Nature, for protecting your broadleaf weeds by washing all my weed killer off them.
