Karl Marx hated the USSR and what it did under the claim of his ideas.

Don’t believe me? Look it up.

Comment to The Invention of Ideology

[I’m quite suspicious of people who claim they can “channel the spirit” of someone. Defending the claim that it doesn’t happen is trivially easy. Hence I think the only look up required is that Marx died in 1883 and no government could claim the title of USSR until sometime after the revolution in 1917.

But Marxist defenders don’t really need facts. They just have to “understand” the benefits of communism even if they can’t understand the simplest and best tested of economics theories.—Joe]

  1. You gotta wonder about some of the stuff people say/print sometimes… And THAT would be one of them! 🙂 Hang in there Mr.G, just post when you want to, we’ll be around!

  2. I saw that cartoon last Sunday. Another time-worn attack on conservatives. Like most lefties, Wiley is addicted to his ire (the jerk can’t go a single week without the perfunctory stab). I hate that comic strip.
Trouble is, he’s not alone. These days. it seems about half the comics in the “Sunday Funnies” would be more fit on the Editorial pages.
I am so sick of being pummeled by the MSM and their non-stop indoctrination. Now I can’t even enjoy the funnies anymore….

    • Morrie Turner who created “Wee Pals” – the most awful case of Political Correctness and Posturing in Comic-land – came and talked to my class in grade-school. I learned the meaning of “Blatant Pandering” in 6th Grade. The PA Times was one of the first to pick him up in syndication…
