  1. Something in WP is FUBAR’d. URL for that image is referring to the local storage location, or something like that. For some reason, this made me think of “Sumer is a cumin in”, which I had associated with Ogden Nash, for some reason – incorrectly. But I went looking, and found “Spring has sprung”.

But you Californians go ahead and keep all that rain, so it doesn’t come over the Divide, and dump 2 feet of snow on my car. 🙂

    • WP insisted On making changes, and now something called JetPack is the tool to compose posts and pictures off this iPad…
The snow-pack up in Tahoe is 52-feet, it’s enough to make the Donner Party happy!

    • JetPack has been around for a while, but I don’t know much about it. I think it used to refer to some collection of back-end stuff. WP has been making unpopular changes for quite a while – at least, they’re unpopular with me, and some unknown number of others, such as when they ended up walking back their deprecation of the “classic” editor. I still haven’t figured out how to operate the new “block” editor, and I don’t need to, for my purposes.

I guess I should go check on the one, simple, little site I maintain in WP, to see whether it’s gotten messed up by whatever knobs the WP dweebs are turning these days.

    • I was not too thrilled to make the switch to JP and the “block” editor is three steps backwards, inserting paragraph and line breaks at every turn, but I don’t fire-up the big PC hardly at all anymore…
