  1. There’s that red rubber ball, again. Used to be, I’d see more national news about things like fires and floods, but I guess these days, it gets pushed out of sight by all the political BS. Storm Kay got a little mention, but then it was no Katrina, so meh, I guess.

    The heat wave over here finally broke, and I hope it stays that way. I’m tired of it. OTOH, I’m not looking forward to winter. As I get older, my tolerance band for temperature gets more narrow.

    I’m ready for the climate-controlled mega-domes. 🙂

    • It’s nice to cool-off a bit, but Fall has its own set of chores! The John Deere transmission needs servicing, I think – it’s got enough hours on it.
      I’m reminded of the Mega Domes in Logan’s Run and Silent Running…
