Nice to see an orange morning sky that’s not because of fire and bad air! Post-equinox the rising sun is moving further to the right, heading into Fall and Winter when it turns back again.

Pretty sure we’ve had that in the past eight minutes here in the Pacific NW. I had to walk out to my garage because that’s the only place I have storage. Needed an airlock for a jug of cider. In my pajamas, a ranch coat, and boots. To quote U2:
It was just enough wash out all the smoke and knock down the dust, and moisten the ground enough to prep the dog lawn for some more seed and fertilizer after a dead summer – and conveniently it happened at night.
