  1. Amazingly, we’ve been completely free of severe weather here in Tornado Alley. I think it’s only hailed once, and even then it was pea-sized.

    We’ve had the HVAC off for the last 6 weeks. Unheard of around here, with really decent temperatures that have been remarkably consistent and seasonably climbing.

    But that ends today, I’m given to understand. Summer sets in as we get into the upper 80’s and the dreaded humidity washes over us for the next four and half months.

    • I’m glad for you that Tornado Alley has remained quite so-far! We are currently enjoying what I believe will be the last rain (and snow in the Sierras) of the season!
      In order to take advantage of the free water, I had to hustle and get some soil amendment and grass-seed down on the brown (clay) spots out in the old cow pasture! Hope you continue to have a tornado-free Summer!
