Relaxing with a chilled Italian Peroni to the not-so-relaxing Isle of Man on-bike camera footage.
Simply incredible moto-mayhem.
The uttter speed, the lean-angles, the closeness of the spectators, the potential for glory, the potential for catastrophe.
Years ago, I read a study that found that any objects near the side of the road would influence drivers to drive slower than they would if it was just an empty field. Telephone poles and trees were specifically mentioned. Ignoring this to reach a race pace at the IOM must be part of the learning process. I see mention that it generally takes a rider three years to become competitive there.
