Rain Prep

I’m going to finally have to get up on a (short) ladder and check the gutters along the deck-side. We have an atmospheric river of moisture pointed at us, a phalanx of atmospheric 14″ artillery-guns if you will, and The Big Guy in the Sky pulled the trigger and launched the Pineapple Express.

A NOAA weather graphic shows an atmospheric river streaming across the Pacific to the central California coast.

  1. Today we are experiencing something called ‘explosive cyclogenesis’ another version of shitty weather it seems, living on the coast of the Irish sea is so much fun in winter…now get up them ladders!

    • It’s the Media’s job to make up Sky-is-Falling scary-words to keep the rabbits running! Atmospheric Rivers!! Fortunately it’s mostly downhill from here so if the Central Valley floods we can watch, and then get the fishing boat out… Folsom Lake is up five-feet since the last bit of Explosive Cyclogenesis!
