So it turns out that EPA chief Carol Browner used an alias email account under the pseudonym “Richard Windsor” to avoid scrutiny and keep certain parts of the paper-trail hidden from public view. Great. Nice piece of work.
In The Liberal War on on Transparency, published by Threshold Editions last month, I revealed the existence of a series of black, or “alias” email accounts used by EPA administrators. These were actively instituted by none other than Carol Browner, who designed her own secret address, for an account that I also learned was set to “auto-delete”.
Ms. Jackson is the “eco-warrior”, “most progressive EPA chief in history” — pushing Obama’s backdoor march (other ways “of skinning the cat”) toward cap-and-trade.
“Richard Windsor.” That is the name — sorry, one of the alias names — used by Obama’s radical EPA chief to keep her email from those who ask for it.
And so she is revealed by Christopher Horner as a secretive leader and furitive liar. (my emphasis added in the above)
Meanwhile The Competitive Enterprise Institute will file suit Tuesday seeking to force Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner to make public more than 7,300 internal emails circulated in recent months among senior executives in his department about a carbon tax proposal officials say taxpayers don’t need to know about. I wonder if Tax-Cheat Timmy Geithner has a spare gMail account under another name… Didn’t Petraeus use a gMail account too?
In a statement to be released tomorrow, CEI says enactment of “some levy on energy consumption has been a policy goal of environmental groups for at least two decades, since Al Gore’s politically disastrous attempt to push a BTU Tax in 1993. In 2010, with both houses of Congress in Democratic hands, President Obama pushed for cap-and-trade legislation. When that failed because of intense public opposition, he vowed to return, saying there are ‘other ways to skin the cat.’ This, presumably, is one of those other ways.”
The carbon tax proposal that has been under discussion at the Treasury Department will be introduced in Congress by one of Obama’s congressional supporters, according to CEI.
This immediately reminds me that Obama said he would be “working on gun control under the radar”, and explains just how to do that- get under the email radar. Makes me wonder how much of a hidden, parallel Administration exists in Washington DC? All those Czars…
