  1. The stop pin wear marks on those lower lugs is not optimum, especially the HS (lower) one. Have you measured the locking lug engagement yet? Photos are fuzzy of the slide lugs. Are the edges of the slots rounded off?
    The frame, slide, and barrel of 1911’s should never have been separated (mixed up) by the military when they were servicing them. When I read that that was a normal policy, I felt like smacking my head on the desk. Idiots.
