I took the ’43 apart and polished the feed-ramp on the new-old-original era Colt barrel.
Now the thing locks up as tight as a drum now and only rattles a bit when you shake it side-to-side. The background is an old (1880) Admiralty chart.

Go to hobby lobby and buy a poster-sized piece of silver card. Cut a 6X12 in piece off and use it as a reflector to fill in the light add a little sparkle to this great old gun.
